Art Collection

In art class, we were all told to bring in two items that are blue. It's really cool to see the things that people would bring in. There was many interesting things. Art class shows many things about us and brings out things that people don't know about us. Such as, our drawings, paintings, sketches, etc. The collection that the art classes created, including my art class, shows a lot about the time we live in. Our collection shows our interests because people brought in the things that they like to do, what they collect, what they thought was cool or what ever the reason was.

Portia Munson is a really interesting artist. She does collections of her owe, of colors. she has many collections of all things that are pink. I wonder if she just found all the pink objects and put it in a pile, or things that are meaningful to her. Heres a link to one of her collections.

What do I collect?

I dont really collect things. I always keep the little things. If someone writes me a letter, I'll keep it. I basically collect my memories. I also collect giraffes. Im obsessed with giraffes because there really cute and I just really like them. I recently just started collecting anything related to giraffes.

Bike & candy drawing

                                  It was really fun drawing the bike and candy drawing. The bike drawingas, you can see, was a black and white drawing. The candy drawing was colerful and cool to draw. I enjoyed drawing the candy drawing the most because it had color into it and it was 3D.  I really love art class this year because we aren't doing the same basic things, we're doing different types of things. I learned a lot about drawing this year.

Bike drawing

                      Drawing the bike was interesting. I had trouble drawing it, and it took me awhile but it was fun. Drawing the wheel was my favorite part to draw. It was fun shading it too. You had to decide what to shade in dark and what to shade in light.

Candy drawling

                               It was hard drawing the candy drawing. It took me awhile to draw. At first, it seemed so easy, but, when I started drawing it, it got difficult. It was interesting to do and I learned how to make it look 3-D and put shadows on them, even though it doesn't really look like it. I had fun though.

This year was the first year I took Art in High School. I chose this class because I'm not really good at art, so I took it so that I can get better at it. I hope I learn how to draw better and learn to do more things.
